James Henry is a family medicine resident physician at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. As a family medicine physician, he believes in taking a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and recognizes the inextricable link between mental and physical health when treating his patients. He also has a special interest in global health and East Africa, having spent a year in Butajira, Ethiopia teaching high school science and laboratory as a Princeton in Africa fellow at Project Mercy and multiple trips to Rwanda. He is excited to be part of an organization dedicated to filling the void of mental health services in Rwanda and providing the people of Rwanda with access to counseling.
